Dear Valued Partner,

We’re reaching out to let you know that, beginning June 1, 2025, a temporary 5% surcharge will be applied to all products shipping from both our U.S. and Canadian warehouses. This surcharge is a response to the ongoing and rapidly changing international tariff environment.

Why a Surcharge Instead of a Price Increase?
Tariff rates have been fluctuating significantly, making it difficult to set consistent product pricing. Rather than making frequent changes to our price lists, we’re applying a temporary surcharge to give us the flexibility to respond without disrupting your day-to-day operations.

Importantly, we are not making any changes to MSRP or MAP pricing at this time. This gives you the flexibility to adjust as needed based on your inventory levels, business model, and desired margins.

What’s Causing the Change?

While tariffs on Chinese goods were recently reduced to a minimum of 30%, that’s still considerably higher than where we started the year. On top of that, a new 10% tariff has been added to products from all other countries.
These combined changes have significantly impacted our costs.

We’ve held off implementing any changes for as long as possible, thanks to healthy early-season inventory levels. However, with tariff volatility continuing, we can no longer absorb the increased costs without making a
temporary adjustment.

This Is a Temporary Step

Our goal is to keep this surcharge in place only until the tariff situation stabilizes. Once things settle down, we will move forward with updated pricing that reflects a more predictable cost structure. We believe this approach avoids the need for repeated price updates that can be disruptive for both you and your customers. The surcharge will appear as a single Miscellaneous Charge on your order or invoice.

In Summary:

  • Effective Date: June 1, 2025
  • Surcharge Amount: 5%
  • Applies To: All shipments from U.S. and Canadian warehouses
  • Duration: Temporary—until tariff conditions stabilize
  • Surcharge will appear as a single Miscellaneous Charge on your order/invoice

We appreciate your understanding and continued partnership as we work through these challenges. If you have any questions or would like to discuss how this affects your specific orders, please contact your account manager or our customer care team.
